Nice umbrella. But closed it's actually closer to 13", making it about an inch too long to fit in the underseat storage bins of an A4 or A5. Not sure what case the previous reviewer has, mine is just a simple nylon sleeve.

I am continually surprised by the quality of craftmanship. Ive had this for over 6 years and still holding up great! Even the case has an expensive look and feel.
